1.) I am NOT on any other panels, including United Health Care, Providence,
and Aetna, though I will bill on your behalf as an out-of-network provider if your plan has such coverage. See my Out Of Network Policy for details.
2.) I am NOT a Medicare provider or on any Medicare Advantage plans,
including Samaritan Advantage.
3.) If your insurance policy has a deductible, it is important that you understand how it works. If you deductible has not been met before you see me, your out of pocket expense for seeing me will be high until your deductible is met. Click here for an example.
4. Co-insurance is a different form of client obligation than a co-payment. If you are unsure of the difference, please click here to see an example of the difference.
5. Some insurance companies to NOT cover family therapy services, which is how couples therapy is billed. If you are seeking couples counseling, check with your insurance company to confirm that they cover service 90847.
My approach to helping people make changes emphasizes building on client strengths and past successes. It also recognizes that new skills are often needed to begin moving forward. Working in partnership with my clients, a treatment plan is created that is adapted to their view of how people make changes and the particular difficulties that are challenging them. The type of psychotherapy I provide is time-limited and designed to address each individual’s or couples' goals, as well as their readiness to change.
