My structured approach to psychotherapy is only for clients who feel that they can identify two important goals to focus on, goals which they believe are potentially achievable within this timeframe and structure.

If you think your psychotherapy interests are amenable to this approach, please print and fill out an evaluation form. Then, mail or email the form to me and I will contact you to discuss setting up an assessment session.

As of July 4, 2020 I am no longer accepting new psychotherapy clients. I am retiring as psychotherapist. I will, however, continue with my consulting and teaching work.

TREATMENT

  • Collaborative
  • Time Limited
  • Strength Based
  • Solution Focused

A solution-focused psychotherapy approach to helping people make changes emphasizes building on client strengths and past successes. It also recognizes that new skills are often needed to begin moving forward. Working in partnership with my clients, a treatment plan is created that is adapted to their view of how people make changes and the particular difficulties that are challenging them. The type of psychotherapy I provide is time-limited and designed to address each individual’s or couples' goals, as well as their readiness to change.
